About Us:
55 years of High Fen RC -
Thanks to our sponsors for their generous support -
The High Fen Riding club is based in the North Essex and South Suffolk area of the South-
The club has thrived since it was founded in 1963 by Dietmar Ackermann at his home "High Fen" on the Essex/Suffolk border, and its 100+ members, ranging from 18 (minimum age) up to ...., enjoy their love of horse riding for fun and competition at local and even national level.
The club won the British Riding Clubs' Area 14 Chairman's trophy again in 2014, having held it for most of the last 10 years through its enthusiastic and talented members, hard working and dedicated committee, and the support of its trainers and volunteers willing to give their time to the club. Over the years, High Fen teams have competed successfully in all disciplines at the British Riding Clubs National Championships and were the Riding Clubs’ Team Dressage Champions in 2012.
